Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy explains how Dog Principal LLC processes and delivers orders. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below. This policy should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Refund & Return Policy.

1. Order Processing

• Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed.
• Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
• Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day.
• You will receive an order confirmation, and tracking information once your order ships.

2. Shipping Times

Once dispatched, estimated delivery times within the continental US are:

• Standard shipping: 2–5 business days
• Remote areas: may take 1–3 additional business days

Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed. Total delivery time equals processing time plus transit time.

3. Shipping Rates

• Orders $49 and over: FREE standard shipping.
• Orders under $49: a flat-rate shipping fee is shown before you confirm your order.
• Any applicable taxes are calculated based on your delivery address.

4. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to addresses within the continental United States. At this time we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, P.O. boxes for certain bulky items, or international addresses. If you're unsure whether we can deliver to you, please contact us and we'll be glad to check.

5. Order Tracking

When your order ships, we'll send a tracking number to the email or phone number on file. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking details to update after you receive them.

6. Delays

Occasionally, deliveries may be delayed due to weather, carrier issues, high demand or circumstances beyond our control. We appreciate your patience and will do our best to keep you informed. If your order is significantly delayed, please contact us and we'll help track it down.

7. Incorrect Address & Failed Delivery

Please double-check your shipping address when ordering. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we'll contact you to arrange re-shipment (additional shipping charges may apply).

8. Damaged or Lost Packages

If your package arrives damaged, or if tracking shows delivered but you did not receive it, please contact us within 7 days. We'll work with the carrier to resolve the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate, in line with our Refund & Return Policy.
